Northern Interceptor and North Harbour 2 Pipelines
We provide constructability support to two of Watercare’s most significant new pipelines that run through large sections of North and West Auckland.
This has included providing options assessments at a number of complex locations along the alignment and also an examination of both technical feasibility, as well as cost comparison.
In addition, we created a set of tender assessment criteria for trenchless construction (microtunnelling and horizontal directional drilling) that Watercare has used on these projects and others to assess contractor proposals.
Following the use of these criteria we have provided specialist support to tender evaluation teams for trenchless work.
