Damon is an experienced civil professional with nearly two decades of expertise in civil and open-cast contract mining, primarily in Zimbabwe. Originally from England but raised in Africa, he built his early career as a Civil Quantity Surveyor and Estimator, gaining deep experience in large-scale infrastructure and mining projects.

Since relocating to New Zealand in 2017, Damon has played a key role in a range of construction projects across Auckland, contributing significantly to land enablement and infrastructure delivery under an ACAP agreement with Kāinga Ora as part of the Housing NZ programme.

In May 2025, Damon joined Alta, marking his first step into the consulting sector. With a strong track record of delivering results, he brings a fresh, pragmatic perspective shaped by hands-on experience in diverse environments. Damon is known for his precision, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering high-quality outputs. He is eager to apply and expand his skills while supporting Alta’s continued success.
