Shane is a civil engineer and project manager with 20 years’ experience delivering complex infrastructure, building and community projects across New Zealand and the UK. He brings a broad technical foundation across civil, structural, environmental and building services, paired with a pragmatic, relationship‑focused approach to problem‑solving.

He has led design and delivery for a wide range of projects, including Auckland Council’s Waitākere Resource Recovery Park, Great Barrier Island Transfer Station, and multiple community recycling centres, as well as pump stations, industrial upgrades and major transport structures. Shane is known for his creativity in design methodologies, his ability to navigate diverse stakeholder environments, and his commitment to outcomes that balance operational function, community benefit and commercial value.

Outside of work, Shane enjoys spending time with his family and making the most of New Zealand’s outdoors.
