A large scale $100m+ complex heavy civil construction project located at Drury Quarry and adjacent to State Highway 1. The project includes a new interchange, new arterial road with a 100m long bridge, 3km of new roading and associated utilities.

The development requires complex staging to undertake several million cubic meters of bulk earthworks, 25,000m² of new pavements, stream diversions, relocation of HV overhead lines and gas pipelines.

All of this while maintaining live quarry operations and maintaining public roads. Other elements of the project include deep drainage, wetlands, rising mains, pump stations, along with new supply networks for gas, lighting, communications, power and water.

We have been involved in the design, procurement and construction phases of the project. This includes project management services, master programming, management of contract interfaces, construction staging, methodology reviews and contract programme reviews.

In addition, we have chaired a range of workshops, including utility coordination, risk management and completion management planning.
