Garvan is well-travelled. He has worked in New Zealand, Australia and Europe and has accumulated more than 15 years of experience in the building and infrastructure sectors. He is particularly proud of the five years spent on Wynyard Quarter which was transformed from an industrial hub to an urban environment, particularly the complexities that come with upgrading the Civil infrastructure in this environment.
His career has a unique trajectory, and it has progressed through roles with subcontractors and tier one contractors and an occupational transition from labourer to Senior Associate.

In addition to the wealth of knowledge and experience he has gained from managing projects from design through to delivery, Garvan brings to the table a practical perspective. This is complemented by his broad technical knowledge of industry-wide standards and execution.
