Tunnels and underground

The use of underground space is becoming increasingly important for many major projects, from roads and railways to water and power reticulation. The team has significant New Zealand and international experience delivering and providing advice on the development and use of tunnels and underground space across these sectors.

Our experience includes tunnels for urban development as well as for remote power projects and deep mines.

Projects have included large diameter tunnels for road and rail transport and smaller diameter tunnels, microtunnels and directional drilling for water infrastructure.
