Morgan has more than eight years’ practical experience gained on a variety of heavy civil engineering projects in both New Zealand and in the Pacific under a range of different contract models. She has worked on many civil infrastructure projects, which have involved motorways, stormwater, rail, electrification, marine, temporary works, bridges, services and earthworks, construction programming and sequencing, cost forecasting, and project management.
Project highlights include two 260m long Caribbean Viaduct Bridges on the Northern Corridor Improvements project in Albany, the segmental, epoxy-jointed post-tensioned Bridge 88 and Bridge 89 KiwiRail replacement bridges in Kaukapakapa, and the East Side Villages major sewer upgrade in Pago Pago, American Samoa.
These projects required complex temporary works, efficient coordination, and innovative construction methodologies in very complex and challenging environments. Morgan undertook extensive planning and used due diligence to create value engineering solutions.
“I am a driven and enthusiastic problem solver who believes in collaboration and good communication between all parties to achieve best for project outcomes. Project success can be achieved by keeping an open mind and understanding different perspectives and working efficiently as a team.”
